Our Story

We believe that the natural world around us is spectacular and should be protected and preserved. Back in the early 2000s, we found an incredible piece of land for sale in the Galapagos. It was here that we started the concept of the safari camp. For us, it was never about developing a business model, but loving the place and wanting to give others the chance to experience what we had.

Sleeping under a canvas is a world away from staying in a hotel room, allowing you to be in harmony with the natural world, cradled by wilderness. We want you to feel sheltered yet exposed to nature. The concept of appropriate luxury stems from this, offering you personalised experiences without disrupting the beautiful landscapes around us.
After wandering the wilds of South America and meeting like-minded people, we wanted to bring the concept and experience to a wider audience. Through Latin American Safaris, we hope to bring more than a travel experience, we hope to spark a positive change in mindfulness and responsible travel choices through the deep connection with nature that only staying at a tented camp can offer.
